These Cobra’s are built as a rolling turnkey chassis, and then finished out per the original customer’s preference. This 1965 MKIII Superformance Cobra is equipped with a 460 cubic inch engine that is mated to a Tremec 5-speed manual transmission. The shifter still looks like an original 4-speed shifter from the 60’s, for that vintage look. Power is transferred to the rear 3 piece Halibrand wheels and BFG G-force tires. With all of that power one would expect a vehicle like this to have a top of the line braking system, the Wilwood 4 piston calipers with vented front rotors, Lincoln vented rear rotors, Wilwood master cylinder, Wilwood Adjustable proportioning valve and steel braided lines fit the bill. Inside the cockpit area is vintage Shelby with the correct Smith gauges from the era.
