The current owner has owned the car since 1990, and it has 67572 original miles on the Malibu. This 1971 Chevrolet Malibu has the 350 CID small block engine with a set of headers. The exhaust gases from the headers exit into a Jeg’s exhaust system that was installed in 2009. The transmission is Turbo 350 Hydramatic 3-speed transmission. The power is sent from the transmission to a 4.56 geared posi-track rear end. This will really wake this 1971 Chevelle Malibu up from stoplight to stoplight. The original stock rear end gears are available in case someone wants to slow this car back down. The interior is a light sandal wood and still has the original factory AM radio with 8-track player. The front bench seat was recovered in 2012, and the rest of the interior is in good shape. This 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu is also equipped with factory air conditioning. The air conditioning will need to be recharged. The exterior of the car is in good shape. The paint does have a few minor scratches, here and there, but that is to be expected when a car is driven and enjoyed. The front and rear bumpers look almost new, which is a plus, as chrome has become very expensive to replace.
