The biggest change was the addition of it being a pillared coupe and not a hard top anymore. Styling features included an egg-crate grill, emblems in the taillights and a new government mandated beefier bumper. The Front and rear anti roll bars which were only an option on the SS model a year earlier came standard on the 73.The basic all coil suspension was held over from the previous year. Under the hood was the ever reliable and not be messed with SBC 350. This one has had a set of custom chrome headers as well as a chrome accent on the fan shroud that adds a little class to this 73 Monte. One thing that you will notice is this 73 has the AC delete straight from the factory which was a very rare option. The split bench makes the interior on this 73 Chevy feel even roomier. Options include AM/FM Radio, CD Player, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Tilt Wheel, Seat Belts, Cloth Interior, and Wide White Walls.
