A vehicle designed for efficiency and economy, by Ferdinand Porsche, it is one of the good things to come out of Pre-World War II Germany. The engine in this cool little VW Beetle has been upgraded from the 1200 cc engine to the more powerful 1910 cc engine. The power from the engine is transferred to manual 4-speed transmission. The only option for a 1966 VW Beetle is a manual sunroof and this Volkswagen has it! The interior is a combination of tan leather with cloth inserts. The cabin also boasts a nice Premier AM/FM radio with CD player. The radio is connected to two speakers under the dash in the front, and two speakers in the rear behind the seats. The engine cover has been modified to allow extra air for the larger displacement engine. The red paint on the exterior is relatively fresh, and gives this old 1966 Volkswagen a clean fresh look. The VW Beetle has been lowered just the right amount for that “cool†factor. The wheels are polished aluminum, and really pop!
