The floor mounted 3-speed shifts great and the skull shifter knob is a cool touch. Under the hood you will find a period correct 235 cid straight six cylinder engine with a Rochester carburetor. The exhaust exits the engine through a split pipe for dual exhaust at the rear bumper. It gives this old truck a really nice throaty (but not too loud) sound. You will be amazed by the quality of the paint on this 1953 Chevrolet 3100. It is a combination of silver and purple that the truck pulls off very well. There is also just the right amount of pin striping, which has been applied by a well known local pin stripe artist. Equal attention was paid to the interior with a gray cloth bench seat, gray carpet, the metal parts are painted to match, and power windows have been added. This classic truck is complete with a refinished wood bed for that classic cool hot rod look of a show truck.
