The Factory Five Kit was originally purchased in 2006, but to some health issues by the owner, the roadster was not completed until 2012. Since the completion, this 1965 Cobra Replica only has 1059 miles on the odometer. The Orange Glow over Sterling Silver paint just absolutely pops in the sun light. When you open the hood on this roadster, 1st thing you will notice is that the engine has been painted to match the body of the car. The potent fuel injected Ford 5 liter engine has new rings, bearings, and gaskets. To give the Ford 5 liter additional performance, a B303 cam, GT40P heads, GT40 upper/lower intake, and GT40P headers have been added. There is also a 130 amp alternator to handle all the electrical needs of this Cobra replica. A T-5 five-speed manual transmission handles the power from the engine and sends it to an 8.8 rear end with a 3.08 gear ratio. To help with the shifting of the T-5 transmission is a Steeda Tri-ax Shifter. To stop this fast and light car is a complete 1995 GT Mustang hydroboost disc brake system. The front discs have been upgraded to bigger Cobra disc brakes. Disc brakes at all four corners and will give this little road rocket plenty of stopping power to go with all that incredible accelerating power. Inside the cockpit of this Factory Five Cobra, you will find that it has been kept simple with a set of Auotmeter Ultra Lite gauges to monitor engine functions, and there is an AM/FM stereo with CD player, but the engine will be all the music the driver wants to hear.
