1971 Chevrolet Chevelle

This 1971 Chevrolet Pro-Street Chevelle is for sale in our Louisville Kentucky showroom. There is Less than 200 miles on the restoration. This Pro-Street Chevelle is powered by a SCREAMING 540 BBC with an estimated 750hp. This ’71 Chevrolet Pro-Street Chevelle was completed a little over a year ago, and has only been driven once since being completed. The 540 CID Chevrolet engine has been professionally built using a Merlin 3 block, big valve Dart heads, and full forged internals, with a custom Comp Cams cam, Comp Cams roller rockers and roller lifters. A Holley 1050 Dominator sits atop of the 540 engine. To remove the spent gases, Custom 2 piece Stall headers with 3 inch collector’s dump into 3.5 inch exhausts with Flowmaster race mufflers. To keep this beast of an engine cool, aluminum 4 core radiator with dual High flow fans has been installed. To get the power from that huge engine is a built 350 Turbo Hydramatic with trans brake and 3200 stall reverse manual valve body. So there is no weak links in the drive train, a beefed up GM 12 bolt rear end with a Moser spool, Strange 35 spline axles has been installed. The body of this super fast Chevelle has all new sheet metal, with the only thing not replaced, being the sheet metal of the roof. A 4 inch Fiberglass cowl hood with new hinges is the finishing touch for the body. Other new pieces include new seals, bumpers, grille, headlight bezels, corner lenses and tail light lenses, plastic wheel wells, new door handles, locks and mirrors. To keep the driver safe, a 10 point NHRA certifiable cage has been installed. To give this 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle Street beast its awesome looks, a custom Charcoal grey paint with darker Charcoal racing stripes has been applied to the straight body. To protect the paint, it has been kept under a car cover in a garage since it was painted a year and a half ago. This is a show quality paint job and bodywork. This beast rolls on black brushed 15x4 Billet specialties Street Lites in front with MT tires and 15x9 Billet Specialties Street Lites in rear.
