This 1966 Chevrolet Impala is for sale in our Louisville Kentucky showroom. Totally redesigned in 1965, the Impala set an all-time industry annual sales record of more than 1 million units in the U.S., which has never been bettered. All new full-size Chevrolets eschewed the "X" frame for a full-width perimeter frame, a new body which featured curved, frameless side glass (for pillarless models), sharper angled windshield with newly reshaped vent windows, and redesigned full-coil suspension. This 1966 Chevrolet Impala is a prime example of the big muscular cars from the ‘60’s. Under the hood you will find a rebuilt 327 CID small block engine that is mated to a Muncie 4-speed manual transmission, which is controlled by a Hurst shifter. Sun Gauges monitor the engine functions. The hood has a custom touch with simulated hood scoops. The front end suspension has been rebuilt with new parts, and there is air shocks in the rear to control the ride height. The ’66 Impala has other new parts which include; new gas tank, sending unit, new bumpers, and new lenses. Additional options include; AM/FM Radio with CD player, power steering, power brakes, tilt steering wheel, seat belts and cloth interior. This Impala rides on Cragar aluminum Draglite wheels.
