HBO's "Muhammad Ali's Greatest Fight" was filmed in 2012 which the car was used for three days of filming and can be seen twice in the first 90 seconds. The car had a frame off restoration which is fully documented with pictures and receipts totaling well over 40000 dollars which none of went to replacement panels as this car retains all factory sheet metal. The period correct 389 date coded D84 was first bored .040 over while a crane 068 cam was installed. The tri-power set up was sent to renowned Three Deuce Mechanic Mike Wasson who rebuilt everything back to 65 Factory standards. An MSD ignition and HEI distributer take care of the firing side of things, while a set of Headman Headers connected to a set of flow masters take care of the spent gases. The original Muncie 4 speed has been retained with the center console sporting a Hurst shifter. The rear end with its 3.55 gears is great for off the line acceleration while being able to get up on the highway. The black interior looks great especially against the Mayfair Maize date correct color. The date correct intake and 4 barrel carb is included in the sale of this vehicle.
