T-TopsThis 2002 Firebird Trans AM WS6 is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. This Black Bird is what many consider the best thing that Pontiac had ever put out. Not to mention 2002 being the end of an era at GM. That would be the last year they would produce the Firebird and now with Pontiac gone this will be the last TRUE Firebird to come out of Detroit. The black paint looks like glass while making the two hood scoops appear to be even larger. The rear "Honeycomb taillights" were rendered after the classic Honeycomb wheels of the late 70's. The glass T-Tops are in excellent condition and even have the carpeted inserts to completely block out any sun as well as giving the interior a more finished look. The black leather is in wonderful shape with the front seats having a firm padding yet soft enough to be comfortable on those long trips. Add to it the automatic with overdrive transmission and you can get up to 25 MPG on the highway. The WS6 package with the Ram Air gave a power rating of 325 HP and 350 lb.-ft but many of these cars were tested with ratings much higher than this. Having all this said it was and still is one of the highest HP per dollar ratio ever sold to the general public. The WS6 package also gave the Trans Am a tuned sport suspension which gave this bird a complete package. In the Ws6 trim it would go head to head with the Porsche. Options include AC, Cruise Control, T- Top, Anti Theft, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Windows, Tilt, CD, Am FM Radio, Traction Control, Active Ride Control and Seat Belts.
