1927 Ford Roadster

This 1927 Ford Roadster is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom and with less than 1500 miles on the build it is sure to not last long. This 27 is a great looking car that has a ton of time and money spent on it. The builder decided he wanted something different when he started the project so instead of using your normal run of the mill SBC he opted for a great looking 250 CID straight 6. Since he planned on driving it the estimated 30+ MPG was an added bonus. Once he received his straight 6 motor he decided to outfit it with a set of Offenhauser heads that give this straight 6 an amazing amount of low end grunt. The icing on the cake of you will is the great looking tri carb set up. This set up not only looks amazing but is another way that this 27 stands out from the crowd. With the engine complete the next decision was what transmission? Sure you could go with the typical 3 speed automatic but that’s not really "different". Having that said the owner decided to put a 4 speed close ratio transmission in it. With the drive train intact figuring out how to stop it was the next step. A set of disk brakes was used in the front giving this 27 plenty of stopping power. Keeping everything rolling down the road are a set of Hoosier radials 235/75/15 on the back and 195/70/14 on the front give this roadster a great stance. Once the body was sprayed with a Matte Black finish the interior was the only thing left. The bench seat was covered in comfortable cloth and complimented with leather accents. To complete the interior with its out of the ordinary touch a 7 inch flip out CD/DVD was installed that completes the out of the ordinary theme.
