Originally to be named the Silver Mist, it was soon realized that the word “mist†in German stands for manure, rubbish or dirt. So the name was quickly changed to Shadow. In 1977, the model was renamed the Silver Shadow II in recognition of several major changes, most notably rack and pinion steering; modifications to the front suspension improved handling markedly. This 1979 Rolls has just over 106000 miles on the odometer, but is in great shape due to the regular maintenance it has received. The V-8 engine and transmission are original pieces to the car, and in very good condition. The yellow exterior is original and is still in very good condition. The tan leather interior is still in good condition and is original to the car.
