This 1936 Chevrolet Master Deluxe is available in our Louisville KY showroom. Chevrolet introduced the "Master" line of vehicles in 1933 and was an immediate hit. It was designed to compete with Ford and Plymouth's entry line models. With a staggering 80 HP these cars were real performers in there day. All of that is gone now with a complete modern drive train placed under the vehicle this 36 is ready to be used as a daily driver. The motor under lying beneath the butterfly hood is an electronically controlled tune port injected small block 350. Being controlled by a computer gives you the reliability and ease of operation much like the cars on the road today. No more worries of adjusting the carburetor because the temperature has changed simply turn the key and put in drive. You don’t even have to let it warm up. With the power taken care of a modern transmission was also used with the advantage of an overdrive gear giving you the ability to run at highway speeds at low RPM's. Obviously the original front end was not going to be sufficient so the decision was made to go modern. A jaguar front end was fitted and makes this Master a true joy to drive. With steering so light you can literally turn the wheel with your pinky. Open the steel door and the butterscotch interior looks amazing. The pro-car style seats are very comfortable with a number of adjustments you are sure to find a setting that will fit your needs. Look up and you see a completely custom headliner that has been wrapped in the same material as the seats finishing off the interior and completing the custom look. The black chrome wheels definitely finish off this modern 36 that is ready for anything you want to throw at it.
