When introduced, it created the market niche eventually known as the personal luxury car. This Classic 1955 Ford Thunderbird was completely restored off frame and was completed in 1997. The exterior of this classic T-bird is very clean and has a hard shine, with ivory paint, trimmed in chrome, down to the brilliant shine from the wire wheels. Under the hood you'll find a 1979 351 Windsor V8 nestled away in an engine bay,though not recommended, you could eat off of.Keeping all of that power manageable is a three speed automatic that turns the rear wheels. Other changes to this 1955 Ford Thunderbird during installation include front disc brakes, and a 12 volt charging system with alternator. For you Thunderbird enthusiasts the port holes in the top were added by the dealership after the factory assembly.You also can go topless with confidence especially since the new soft top is sitting behind the seat. The appeal of this 1955 Ford Thunderbird doesn't end with the shine, and big V8, the interior of this bird is very classy with tuxedo styling, black vinyl with white inserts.
