This 1979 Ford F250 4x4 is located in our Louisville KY showroom. 1979 was a banner year for the F series pick up as it was the number one selling vehicle in the world. The classic slogan "Built Ford Tough" was introduced this year as well which was an absolute hit with the public. With the F250 having a perimeter box frame made up of 8 inch tall frame rails this was and still is one of the stiffest set ups ever made. The front suspension utilized a revolutionary Twin I beam design making it a go to piece for 4 wheel drive enthusiasts then and even more so today. With a 4' lift the top of the cab is well over 7 and a half ft tall giving it a menacing presence. The trail master suspension set up only adds to the overall height and off road capability. The interior has been finished with subtle ques of the exterior including matching green arm rests. With the front chrome grill finishing this truck off nicely you can take it out Friday night and romp through the mud and have it cleaned up by Saturday morning to cruise the local car show.
