This 1935 Ford Hot Rod Truck is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. Over 80 years ago this truck rolled off the assembly line and was shipped off to the military. I am sure ole Henry never could of imagined what it would eventually become. The current owner who has owned the truck for over 20 years now finished this rendition about three years ago. The body was taken off the frame and took down to bare metal with any mud or rot being cut out with new metal being welded in. Now that the body was taken care of the frame was completely took down blasted and then painted the gloss black you see now. With everything apart the decision was made to go with the true Hotrod look but with a little different spin on things. The motor was built from a classic small block first being bored .030 over giving it some room for bigger pistons. The next step was to increase the travel or stroke of those pistons giving it a total of 383 cubic inches. With that part taken care of a set of trick flow heads were sourced and installed using all ARP bolts. The last and final step was having the bottom end balanced giving this stroker motor a high revving feel yet a ton of torque. Feeding this beast sitting a-top the high rise intake are a set of freshly rebuilt Holley 4 barrels finishing off the classic dual quad set up. An MSD ignition with a fireball coil this thing has all of the right parts to put some power to those classic rear Coker wheels. Putting all that power to a built turbo 350 transmission was already a great set up but he decided it wasn't cool enough. Having that said a manual shift valve body was added so now you can have the feeling of shifting gears, well kind of. Wrapping up the odds and ends the wiring was nice and tucked away giving the frame and underneath a very clean look. The bed was custom made with half housing the gas tank and the other half a storage bin which is actually motorized and goes up with the flip of a switch. With the last and final thing being the interior custom built stainless door panels look amazing and go well with the medal racing seats. With everything done you have a super cool Hotrod truck in every essence of the word you can make the decision to go windowless like it is now or have some glass cut your call.
