Vinyl InteriorThis 1955 Ford Fairlane is for sale in our Louisville Showroom. This cool old ’55 Fairlane was resto modded in 2011-2012. A very nice Brandywine metallic shade was applied to the exterior. Under the deep dark red hood, a rebuilt 351W CID engine now resides where the original 292 Y-block once conducted its business. To handle the extra torque and horsepower of the 351W, a C-6 3 –speed automatic transmission has been mated to the engine. This extra power will lead to faster speeds, so a power brake system has been added to make this Fairlane stop just as quick. Power steering has also been added to aid in the handling Ford’s version of the shoe box. Inside you will also find the interior looks new with gray cloth and vinyl. A Vintage Air Conditioning has been added to keep things cool. The compressor is in good working order, but looks to need some Freon in order to blow cold. An AM/FM Radio with a CD player has been added for the occupants listening enjoyment. This car is well put together and thought out, it just needs a new owner!
