If you're not familiar with the term a “Gasser" is a hotrod originating from the drag strips of America in the early ‘50's on through the ‘70s. These were known as some of the fastest stock looking vehicles and this one has both the looks and speed.
Powered by a built 377 CID V8 with 12.85 to 1 compression this car is very fun to drive. To list some of the internals this motor features steel crank, 6" Eagle rods, Ross pistons, solid lifter wild cam, 202 closed chambered heads, stainless steel valves, roller rockers, stud girdles, and guild plate. The engine has been paired up to a Muncie M21 4-speed transmission with a Light Smoky Yunik flywheel, and Speedway light clutch and pressure plate sitting between it all. To drive the power to the ground is a Ford 9" rear with 4:56 gears. To keep the rear tires firmly planted at a launch, Art Morrison ladder bars were added to the rear. The Speedway Gasser front end gives it that undeniable stance to claim the name “Gasser".
Aside from the great performance, the car also shows will. Featuring a Cherry Red pearl paint, and custom hand painted pinstriping, it's sure to turn some heads cruising down the road. Looking inward you will find some comfortable bucket vinyl seats which have no major rips or tears. You also can't miss the very cool and custom pistol grip shifter.
