With a Rebuilt GMC 292 inline 6 backed up to a fresh turbo-350 automatic transmission. A lot of work has brought this rare Chevy from an average driver to attention-grabbing beauty. Bringing this 1951 into the new age are several upgrades, including a 12-volt conversion, modern stereo and even a backup camera! In order to achieve an aggressive stance, the front of the car was lowered about 2.5 inches, and the rear was dropped a whole 4 inches and laid on these aggressive staggered rims. While the Pewter paint brings a wonderful shine to these classic lines, the real magic is on the inside. The door panels were re-purposed from a modern Dodge and fit extremely well with the interior. The power bucket seats bring a stronger touch of modern into the car. The headboard wood paneling and cargo wood paneling further the cool experience of this restored car. While looking good is a major part of the experience in owning a classic, driving well is the most important thing and this Chevy delivers! The fuel pump and all the lines were all replaced to feed the peppy straight-six with ease, while a new brake system was fitted to stop this vintage steel on a dime.
