The exterior is a rare Deepwater Blue that is contrasted with a new Parchment convertible top and matching Parchment Z87 Custom bucket-seat interior with a center console, color-keyed accent bands on the seats, molded door panels with recessed door handles, glove-compartment light and Deluxe steering wheel. The rebuilt 350 CI engine and Power glide 2-speed automatic transmission are teamed with a sturdy Posi traction rear end, with power steering and brakes enhancing the Camaro's already nimble handling. Further equipped with a pushbutton radio and power top, this sporty first-year RS/SS convertibles documentation includes the original Protect-O-Plate. When Chevrolet announced the Super Sport performance option package in September 1966, the only engine available was the L48 350 CI small-block V-8, its displacement figure then exclusive to the Camaro in the entire Chevrolet model lineup. Rated at 295 HP at 4,800 RPM, the new 350 gave the Camaro a 24 HP surplus over the highest-horsepower 289 CI small-block Mustang, instantly making the Camaro a threat on both street and strip. The Super Sport package added to the Camaros overall effectiveness and appearance with special heavy-duty suspension, hood insulation, a unique hood with bright simulated intake grilles, front wraparound striping, 14x6-inch Rally Gateway Classic Cars of Las Vegas is proud to present this highly collectible 1967 Chevrolet Camaro wheels and SS emblems on the front grille, fenders and fuel-filler cap. The Rally Sport package included a special front grille with hideaway headlights, bright wheel arch, lower body-side and wheel-arch trim, and rear valence-mounted reverse lights.
