Gateway Classic Cars Milwaukee is excited to present this 1922 Ford Model T. The Ford Model T was produced from 1903- 1927. Henry Ford was the first manufacturer to build an affordable car for the masses. The low- priced cost of a Model T was achieved by using assembly line production. The engines generated 20 horsepower with a top speed of 40-45 miles per hour. The original Model T was started with a hand crank, but after 1919 models were equipped with hattery powered starters.
This 1922 Ford Model T is about as authentic as you will find. The metal body, wood floors and wagon seat are true to a 1922 Model T. The original kerosine headlamps are still intact. Six-volt headlights were also installed. Wood spoke wheels and brass radiator cap/ temp gauge add to the nostalgic appearance of this survivor. The wood dash displays the period ignition box and newer Stewart speedo/ odometer. A red seat cushion adds a nice pop against the classic black paint. A true survivor of the Ford legacy, this 1922 Ford Model T is a sight to see for any history buffs car collectors.
