Originally marketed for countries around the world that did not sell the F-150. The Ranger was continuously among one of the highest selling pickups in the compact segment during its 29 -year run. Throughout the years the Ranger has been produced in both 2-wheel and 4-wheel configurations.
This 1996 Ford XLT is not your ordinary Ranger. Under the hood is a Mustang 5.0 SVT Cobra V-8 attached to a five-speed Trimec manual transmission. Sending power to the rear wheels with an 8.8 Ford rear end. Producing upwards of 340 hp. at the crank, making this Ranger one fast truck. This is a professionally installed Ford Mustang Racing crate engine. An aluminum radiator has been installed to keep the engine cool. The Ranger is painted in classic Pewter gray with a light gray cloth interior. American Racing alloy mag wheels and black tonneau cover give the Ranger a nice sporty look. A Summit tach has been added to keep those RPMs in check. For your music enjoyment, an aftermarket Kenwood AM/ FM/ CD radio with power amp has been installed. Additional options include air conditioning, power steering, power anti-lock brakes, tilt wheel, 60/40 seat and bedliner.
