Designed as a mid-size car that was sold in coupes, convertibles, sedans and station wagons. The SS “Super Sport" package was available through the 1973 model year. This second generation Chevelle SS was produced from 1968-1972. In 1972 the Chevrolet Chevelle was the highest selling car in the US.
This 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle SS is a frame off restoration. A mirror finish red paint job is accented by the Chevelle twin black stripes running down the hood and decklid. No detail was missed in the restoration from the chrome work, engine compartment and trunk. A set of black steel rims mounted on raised white letter tires puts a final touch on one good looking Chevelle. The interior has been completely redone in factor black vinyl. Bucket seats, center console with a “horse- shoe" shifter and after-market gauge package add to the Chevelle's sporty good looks. Under the hood of this beauty is a 402/396 cubic inch V-8 engine. The 400 three-speed automatic transmission is attached to a 308 posi rear end. Options include power steering, power brakes, seat belts and an AM/FM radio.
One can only describe this 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle SS a real showstopper. This classic chevy is a real head turner with its great looks and historic presence in the muscle car arena.
