Gateway Classic Cars Milwaukee is excited to present this 1961 Chevrolet four-door Impala. The Impala name plate has been used by Chevrolet on and off from 1958-2020. A full-sized passenger car that became one of General Motors huge successes in the affordable big car segment. The Impala successfully reinvented itself for an astonishing ten generations. This 1961 Chevrolet is a third -generation model built from 1961-64. Built as a 2-door, 4-door, wagon and convertible. Visible differences on the 1961 were straighter bodylines and the addition of more decorative trim. The “SS" option also made its debut in 1961.

This 1961 Chevrolet four-door Impala is painted in Twilight Turquoise with an accenting white roof and white inset side panels. American Racing five-spoke alloys mounted on a set of Fire Hawk Indy 500 raised white tires make quite a statement. The interior has been nicely redone in matching turquoise. Nice chrome bumpers and dual sport mirrors add to a sporty look. Under the hood is a GM 350 crate engine attached to a four-speed manual transmission. Comfort features include power steering, power brakes, factory AM radio and seatbelts.
