Gateway Classic Cars Milwaukee is excited to present this 1940 Ford Deluxe restomod. A new modernized look took place in 1939-40 Ford. The headlights were moved farther apart (converted to seal beam head lights for the first time in 1940). The side grilles were removed for chrome strips on the deluxe models, and the first "alligator" hood that opened from the top replacing past side panels. Hydraulic brakes were installed for the first time on the new Ford Deluxe.
This 1940 Ford Deluxe is handsomely painted in tuxedo black with a classy tan leather interior. Except for a meaty set of American Racing alloy wheel, sport mirrors, and front and rear bumper removed this 1940 Ford has retained its original exterior features. The interior on the other hand has been completely modernized with leather bucket seating, center armrest, full carpeting, modern gauge package, power windows, power seats, tilt steering wheel, and a Pioneer AM/FM/cd radio. Under the hood is a General Motors 350 V-8 attached to an automatic transmission. Added features include power steering and power four-wheel disk brakes.
