Gateway Classic Cars Milwaukee is excited to present this 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air. The second- generation Bel Air was manufactured from 1955-1957. Body styles included two-door, four-door, and station wagon platforms. Chevrolet marketed the Bel Air as flagship full size offering with upscale features. Full carpeting, stainless steel window moldings, full wheel covers, and optional air conditioning. Starting in 1955, a V-8 engine and power glide transmission were also made available as an option. In 1956, the Bel Air received a full width grille, two-tone paint schemes, and single housing taillights with the left one hiding the fuel filler.
This 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air is paint in a w\ two-tone paint scheme of India Ivory/ Nassau Blue #707. Highlighted with the optional rear mounted spare tire and fender skirts. Full wheel covers, wide white wall tires, and tons of chrome and stainless trim are what makes a Bel Air so appealing in the classic car market. The interior is highlighted with two-tone light blue vinyl seats with dark grey cloth inserts and silver cording. Beautifully accented with two-tone blue door panels, light blue headliner, blue dash, and dark blue carpeting. The majestic three-spoke steering wheel and chrome trimmed dash are truly eye-catching features. Under the hood is a 265 V-8 attached to a two-speed power glide automatic transmission. This well-optioned 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air also comes with power steering and power brakes.
