1978 Triumph Spitfire

For sale in our Milwaukee Showroom is a nicely restored 1978 Triumph Spitfire 1500. This 5th and last version of the Spitfire was produced from 1974-1980, and proudly announced from its first brochure 'the sharp, confident accelerator can take you up to the 100 mph mark'.

This well done two year frame-up restoration took the body down to steel inside and out and was tastefully redone. An all new interior includes new seat foam and custom upholstery with ostrich skin bolsters, new door panels, top, and new oak dashboard. The 64,515 mile original engine and original four-speed with overdrive were removed for painting, but not rebuilt because of the quality and performance in their unmolested condition. This Spitfire also features plenty of new parts including a radiator, electric fan, water pump, clutch, brakes, bushings and tires are new.

Most remember the first Spitfire they ever drove or rode in, and this one is a great chance to create even better memories.
