The Ford Ranchero is a coupe utility that was produced between 1957 and 1979. The Ranchero was the first American vehicle of its type adapted from a popular sedan from the factory, the two-door Ranch “Wagonstationâ€. The Ranchero sold well enough to spur GM to compete with the El Camino starting in 1959. Many styling changes evolved over the years, most notably in the 1970’s, with the final Ranchero rolling of the Ford line in 1979. This 1979 dark blue/blue beauty has been repowered with a Lincoln MKIV 4.6L fuel injected V8. The owner states only 6,485 miles since the rebuild. The paint was redone in 2010 and mild custom features added including a custom grille. Options include power steering, power brakes, power windows, power seats and AM/FM/CD stereo. This 1979 Ford Ranchero is located at our Milwaukee showroom. You can view this vehicle in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.som.
