Vinyl InteriorThe Pontiac Firebird was introduced in 1967 and intended to compete with the Ford Mustang. The name “Firebird†actually dates back to several GM concept car designs from the 1950’s. The 1967 Firebird shared many styling cues with it’s cousin, the Chevrolet Camaro, although the Firebird’s bumpers were integrated into the design of the front end. Base models came equipped with a 230 ci inline-six engine although most buyers opted for one of three V8 options. The top of the line was a 400 cid monster shared with the Pontiac GTO and rated at 325 horsepower. This Black Cherry 1967 Pontiac Firebird features a replacement 400 V8 mated to a 4-speed manual transmission. The owner reports 3,000 miles since the rebuild. This total frame-off restoration features new 4-wheel disc brakes and new sheet metal floor and trunk lid. Cruise in style surrounded by a black leather interior and listen to the Retro Sound audio system. The entire build package is set off nicely by a set of Keystone custom wheels.
