The Studebaker Avanti was a significant breakthrough design in post-war America. The car's design theme is the result of sketches Sherwood Egbert "doodled" on a jet-plane flight west from Chicago 37 days after becoming president of Studebaker in February 1961. Today, it still looks ahead of its time. This Studebaker Avanti packs a rebuilt 289 cubic inch engine with a 4-speed manual transmission, which has also been rebuilt. The white frame-off restored exterior is complimented with a beautiful red interior. You will be sure to get plenty of double takes as you drive this beauty around town!
