1990 Jeep Wrangler

Gateway Classic Cars is poised in presenting this white 1990 Jeep Wrangler at the Milwaukee Showroom. Jeep had produced the Wrangler starting in 1986 as essentially a redesign to its predecessors; the CJ-5 and the CJ-7 which had become notorious for tipping over due to the combination of being top heavy and having a short wheelbase. The Wrangler came with a redesign that came with a wider track width, an improved interior that featured airbags in order to implement the idea of having a safer vehicle for the average consumer to drive. While this Jeep shows as a good example of how far they had come since the days of the CJs, this one wasn't done undergoing upgrades yet. This Wrangler has been lifted 4 inches and has a meaty set of 35" BF Goodrich all terrain tires sitting underneath it, which really sets off a tough stance on what is already a reputable and capable off-road machine. On top of that, there is a winch mounted on the front of this beast, so you have options for when fun has demanded that you need to be bailed out of a more stuck situation. This 4x4 beast also has a stronger tubular rear bumper on it which really contributes to its already aggressive look. Powering this off-road machine is a 4.2 liter inline 6 cylinder, which by reputation, is the motor that forgets to die because these runs forever. Bolted to the ever reliable 6-popper, there lies a 5-speed manual transmission that gives you maximum control whether you're hitting the trails or you're just going to work. This white beauty also comes loaded with features like air conditioning, AM/FM with a CD player, power steering, and power brakes which makes this beast a good meet in the middle ride a tad more practical. Finally, this Jeep comes as a soft top which means for when the weather is being nice out, you get to feel the sun on your skin and the wind rush at you when you go for a cruise.
