Vinyl InteriorThis 1967 Pontiac GTO is now stealing everyone's attention in the Milwaukee Showroom at Gateway Classic Cars. The GTO came into the Pontiac as a performance variant of a large body car over the Lemans. The 1967 year is one of the more notable looking body styles being that it has the iconic stacked headlight setup that so many seem to seek. This GTO has been modified to go above and beyond the call of run of the mill performance car and rank into being a monstrous street machine. This is done by placing a humongous 540 cubic inch big block V8 under the hood which was built by Bill Mitchell and features an aluminum intake, aluminum heads, headers, and a Merlin II core iron block. The monstrosity of a power plant is bolted to a TH400 3-speed automatic transmission which was put together by Hardcore Racing and it goes backer to a 12 bolt Moser rear end which features an Auburn limited slip differential and a 4:10 rear gear ratio. Just because this car is setup to be an absolute monster in the streets doesn't mean that it doesn't have a few amenities to make the adrenaline pumped ride a little more comfortable. Features include air conditioning, power assisted steering, an aftermarket stereo deck with CD player, and power brakes which helps take the stress out of driving such a beast.
