1955 Chevrolet 3100

While one could ramble on about the history of the 3100 series being a workhorse intended truck back in it's day, it would be useless to do so being that this purple and Viper Yellow painted custom machine has been customized to the max and is a one of a kind piece. This frame off build shows as being as clean as can be and features modernized parts in it in order to make it a more powerful and practical ride in terms of drivability. Under the hood of this lies a 350 cubic inch small block V8 that offers better power and torque than the original engine did to move this truck along and give it the ability to break the tires loose. This powerful engine is bolted to a 700R4 4-speed automatic transmissions with overdrive which offers more ease of use and better highway capability. All this energy is transferred back to a 10 bolt rear axle featuring a Posi traction differential and a 3:73 gear ratio. The front end of this truck comes off of a 1975 Camaro offering a better feel to the steering and suspension. Inside the truck one will find the interior has been outfitted with leather seats out of a modern Mini Cooper offering a better comfort as opposed to what this truck originally came with.
