Being designed by General Motors to directly compete with the Ford Mustang. During its long successful run Chevrolet has sold more than five million Camaros. The first-generation Camaro offered trim packages including a standard, Super Sport and Z28 model was added in the later half of 1967. The second-generation Camaro was produced from 1970 through 1981. It was a longer,lower, and wider model than its predecessor Considered by many to be more of a "Drivers Car" than the first generation.
