Vinyl InteriorGateway Classic Cars of Milwaukee is excited to present this awesome 1969 Chevrolet Yenko Chevelle Clone. A limited production vehicle that was equipped with a special package including a 427 V-8 producing 425hp. A special ducted hood, dual exhaust, heavy duty radiator , and stiffer suspensions. Unlike earlier years Yenkos, the 1969 Chevelle was built on the GM assembly line and not as a dealer installed package. Buyers had a choice of either the M-21 four speed or the Turbo Hydramatic 400 automatic transmission. A total of 201 Chevelle Yenko models were sold in 1969. 171 were sold with four-speed transmissions and 30 with automatic transmissions. It is estimated that a total just over 325 Yenkos were produced in 1969. Making a REAL Yenko a rare commodity in todays market.
Our 1969 Chevrolet Yenko Clone is not quite the real thing, but the car surely doest not dissapoint. Under the hood is a 454 V-8 attached to a Muncie four-speed transmission. A Chevrolet Twelve-bolt posi rear end and Hotchkis Sport Suspension makes this Chevelle on mean machine. Painted in Orange with a super sport hood and black out SS front grille and tail panels. Accented with all the Yenko black stripes and appropruate badging you would expect. Power steering and power front vented disk brakes makes this Chevelle a true joy to drive. Even the black vinyl bucket seats come with the "sYc" logo on the headrests. Don't miss out on this 1969 Chevrolet Yenko Clone.
