This custom 1929 Willys-Knight 4-door sedan was carefully restored with complete intentions of being both driven and shown. Finished in a very sharp Burgundy Metallic over a professionally upholstered Gray tweed interior. Upgraded with a new Goodrich crate Chevrolet 350ci V8 engine producing 290 horsepower and 332 ft. lbs of torque and mated to a Turbo-Hydromatic 3-speed automatic, it drives down the road with great ease! The original chassis now incorporates a Mustang II independent front suspension with rack and pinion steering, power disc brakes, and solid rear axle (2.73 gear) with heavy duty leaf springs and new shocks. Options include air conditioning, 15" polished alloy wheels with staggered radial tires, adjustable sport buck seats, tilt steering column with leather wrapped steering wheel, tinted glass and wind wings, front cowl lights, fog lights, windshield sun visor, complete Faria instrumentation, wood trimmed rear luggage rack, and overhead mounted Jensen AM/FM CD stereo and Uniden CB radio. Extra power and engine performance comes from an Edelbrock Performer RPM aluminum intake and 600 cfm carburetor with electric choke, true dual exhaust, and aluminum radiator with 6-blade Flex-lite cooling fan! Special touches will be seen all over this unique hot rod! The roof and running boards are covered in padded black Stayfast canvas. Each running board has two “V8" step plates at each entry door. The interior appointments are very well down with special accented trim on the seats, door panels, and headliner. And behind the rear seat you will find the battery with cut-off and ample storage for a small cooler and car cleaning gear. It really is a car worth seeing in person!
