Gateway Classic Cars of Indianapolis is proud to offer this 1929 Ford Model A. The current owner has enjoyed this piece of Ford history since 1997 and have made the necessary upgrades to keep it on the road. By February 4, 1929, one million Model As had been sold, and by July 24, two million. Model A production ended in March 1932. Walking around this '29 one should notice the two-toned green body with black fenders that is offset with darker green and yellow pin stripes. Adding to the curb appeal are black wire wheels, black vinyl roof, chrome headlights, chrome bumpers, chrome radiator cover/grille, and even a 1929 Indiana vanity plate. The gray cloth interior flows well with the paint theme. Additionally, the interior features chrome accent trim, painted to match dash, and original styled gauges. Powering this Model A is an inline 4 cylinder engine that is mated to a manual transmission. The owner states this Ford has been driven about 2,000 since the rebuild of the engine in 1985. If you are looking for vintage automobile, this example really takes you back to a simpler time when cruising in it.
