For sale is a 1929 Ford Model A Open-Cab Pickup Truck located in our Indianapolis showroom. Ford Motor Company introduced the Model A in 1927 replacing its predecessor the Model T with huge success. They produced many Model A styles ranging from Coupes, Convertibles, Sedans, Station Wagons, Taxicabs, and Trucks like this one that is being offered for sale. This 1929 Ford Model A Open-Cab Pickup Truck is powered by its rebuilt 201 CID Inline 4 cylinder engine, and is backed by a 3-speed manual transmission. The engine is coming off a fresh professional rebuild with roughly 1,500 miles on the build. The clutch was also replaced during the rebuild which included grinding and rebuilding the pressure plate, and replacing the throw out bearing and pilot bearings. Also, the Zenith-1 Carburetor was rebuilt along with the distributor with modern upper and lower plates and a new radiator and water pump were also installed. To improve the braking abilities of this antique Ford a hydraulic brake system was installed including all new modern brake drums and plates. The steering was also addressed with an alignment and adjustments for better control as you are out showing off in this '29 Model A Truck. There is a long list and receipts for many other mechanical upgrades performed on this truck that will go with the sale of the vehicle.
