Power Steering1969 Ford Cobra for sale in Indianapolis! This extremely rare Ford Cobra is a low mileage, numbers matching un-molested survivor from the muscle car era. These Cobras were designed to compete at Daytona and Talladega against the Super Bee and the GTO. Ford only produced around 1400 of these Cobras and the options list on this Ford is impressive! This popular sports roof (fastback) R-code classic retains the original 428-4v CJ engine with factory Ram Air. The original optional (C6) Select-Shift Cruise-a-Matic transmission still shifts like new. Other options include Bucket Seats with Center Console, Power Steering, AM Radio, Electric Clock, Tinted Glass, Adjustable Front Head Restraints and Deluxe Seat Belts with Warning Lights. This Cobra was also optioned with the highly sought after Front Disc Brakes. These Cobras were purpose-built performance cars. As a result, heavy-duty competition parts were added from front to rear. For example, stiffer front coils were paired with beefed-up hydraulic shocks and a stout 15/16-inch-diameter anti-roll bar was included. With just 86,672 original miles this 1969 Cobra is as close to all original as they come these days. The original 6 inch wheels and hubcaps with white raised letter tires are also available with the car. The car was repainted one time back in 1979 and has remained unchanged since its original invoice. This legend also comes with the original window sticker, build sheet and a Marti report.
