For sale is a 1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS Convertible located in our Indianapolis Showroom. In 1967 Chevrolet brought out the Camaro as their answer to Ford's Mustang. Often referred to as a "Pony Car" the first generation Camaros were compact, beautifully styled, affordable, and had a great level of sportiness. A benefit to the 67 Camaro is that the hideaway headlight doors were electrically operated, as opposed to the later years which were operated by vacuum and notorious for failing.

This 1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS Convertible is powered by a casting correct 327 CID V8 engine, backed by a Muncie 4-speed manual transmission, and running to a 10 bolt rear end. The 327 under the hood is outfitted with an Aluminum Edelbrock Intake, Edelbrock 4-Barrel Carburetor, "Double Hump" Heads, Chrome Valve Covers and Air Cleaner, Aluminum Pulleys, and a set of Hedman Headers. The exhaust exits out through a dual exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers and has a deep "muscle car" tone. The cowl tag indicates that this is a true Rally Sport that came equipped with a four speed manual and center console. It also shows that it rolled of the assembly line painted in the beautiful Deep Water Blue exterior paint and finished with a Blue interior. The car has been repainted back to the factory color and looks and shows great. A lot of new items were put on during the restoration from inside to out. On the exterior you will find NEW: Grill, Hideaway Headlight Trim, Fresh Air Hood, Front and Rear Bumpers, Emblems, Park Lamp Assemblies, Wheel Well Moldings, Rocker Moldings, Mirrors, Door Handles, Tail Light and Reverse Light Assemblies, RS Fuel Cap, Spoiler, Windshield, Pillar Moldings, Wipers, and a White Convertible Top and Boot. On the interior you will find NEW: Sill Plates, Seat Covers, Door Panels, Dash Pad, Pillar Moldings, Window Felts, Weather Stripping, Window Cranks, and a New Tach and Gauges. The car has also been updated with power brakes (front disc/rear drum) which makes it much easier and safer to slow down this rolling piece of art. Bringing this car into the modern era, a set of American Racing REV wheels were put on wrapped in Riken Raptor ZR rated radials. Up front the wheels measure 17x7 with 215/50ZR17 tires and out back are 17x8 wheels with 255/50ZR17's.
