For sale is a 1986 Chevrolet K10 4X4 Pickup located in our Indianapolis Showroom. Chevrolet introduced the third generation C/K series truck line in 1973 and running to the 1987 model year. This new truck line was revolutionary in appearance for its time in the truck world. These third generation trucks were marketed with the "Rounded -Line" moniker highlighting the pickup's rounded lines including the windshield corners, cab roof, sloped rounded doors, front fenders, pickup box corners. This new design feature also helped improve aerodynamics and fuel efficiency over the previous design. The K series designation signifies trucks that are 4 wheel drive and the "10" designated the 1/2 ton capacity. This beautiful yet tough short bed Chevy definitely stands out in the crowd and will sure to be getting you thumbs up wherever you go. This '86 K10 is coming off a recent restoration with lots of new parts being added and a stack of receipts to show. The body was pulled off the frame with new fenders and door skins being put on before a slick two-tone Blue and Gray Slate paint was laid down. New pin striping, side body moldings, a billet grill, and wheel well trim was also added and really sets this truck off. Under the hood sits a freshly rebuilt 350 CID V8 with a High Volume Oil Pump, an RV cam, Long Tube Headers, and is topped with an Aluminum Weiand Intake and a 650 CFM Edelbrock Carburetor with Electric Choke. The small block is mated to a rebuilt 700r4 4-speed Automatic Transmission with a shift kit, out to a NP208 Transfer Case, and running to a 10 bolt front and rear end. The interior was also freshened up with a new custom two-tone cloth interior that matches the exterior paint scheme. The air conditioning is blowing cold thanks to a new A/C compressor, condenser, evaporator, and lines.
