For sale is a 1960 Buick LeSabre located in our Indianapolis Showroom. In 1959, The Buick LeSabre became the new moniker for what had previously been known as the Buick Special. In addition to being Buick's entry level vehicle, the LeSabre was consistently Buick's best selling full-size car. The 1960 model brought only a few changes of the previous model year which included a concave grill, horizontal headlights, a new Buick "Tri-Sheild" Logo, revised instrument panel, and a new two-spoke steering wheel. This particular '60 Buick LeSabre was bought out of California and went through a complete 2 year long restoration from 1992 to 1994 and has around 5,000 miles since the restoration. The car was painted in a beautiful Dark Cherry Metallic base coat/clear coat and looks amazing in the sunlight and will sure to get you thumbs up as you are out cruising around town. This 1960 Buick LeSabre for sale is powered by a rebuilt 401 CID Nailhead V8 engine and is backed by a 2-Speed "Dynaflow" automatic transmission. The Dynaflow transmission set itself apart from its competition with its ability to shift smoothly from one speed to the next. This was a vast improvement over most automatic gearboxes of the time, which tended to lurch their way through gear settings. The interior was also freshened up at the time of restoration with a White and Tan cloth and vinyl interior that compliments the Dark Cherry exterior color very nicely.
