The Dodge Ram SRT-10 were built in limited numbers and touted as the "Fastest Production Truck" ever built with only 872 regular cabs being produced in 2006, with only 221 being painted in Inferno Red paint like this one. The SRT-10 Ram trucks were fitted with the Dodge Viper V10 engine, producing 500 horsepower and 525 ft/lbs. of torque straight from the factory and included high performance suspension, brakes, and lower ride height for better stability.

The 2006 Dodge Ram SRT-10 is powered by an aluminum Dodge Viper 8.3 Liter V10 engine, backed by a Tremec T-56 6-speed manual transmission, running to a Dana 60 rear end with only 16,489 actual miles. The factory sound system in the Ram SRT-10 consists of a 500 Watt in-dash AM/FM/CD player pumping tunes out to 8 Infinity premium speakers along with an Infinity Subwoofer that is fitted nicely back and between the bucket seats.
