This 1971 Chevelle is powered by a 454 cubic inch V8 engine and is backed by a 700r4 4-speed automatic transmission running to a 12-Bolt Posi-traction rear end with 3:55 gears. Options on this 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle SS Tribute include: Air Conditioning, AM/FM Radio with CD Player, Power Steering, Vinyl Interior, Seat Belts and Cooper Cobra Radial T/A tires wrapped around Crager wheels. The 454 cubic inch V8 on this custom tribute has been bored over .040 with rebuilt heads and larger valves. The engine build also features a Comp Cam and hydraulic lifters and Hooker headers running to an X-pipe with Flowmaster mufflers. In 2012 the A-arms were rebuilt and the ball joints were replaced along with the gas tank. The transmission was also switched out in 2012 to a 700r4 4-speed overdrive transmission. In 2014 the classic received a new 750cfm Holley Carburetor, new spring and air shocks and the Vintage Air system was installed. The classic is stunning in green with black SS stripes and black bucket seats. This classic runs, drives and sounds great!
