Vinyl InteriorFor sale in our Indianapolis Showroom is a 1954 Ford Sedan Delivery. This vehicle was bought new in 54 and utilized as a delivery vehicle at a grocery store in Rices Landing, PA. Sellers uncle acquired the vehicle and stored it in his garage until the mid 1970's when the sellers father bought the vehicle and repainted it.
The original color is Sea Foam green and the paint on the firewall is the original from 1954.
Vehicle is original with 6 volt system and the tube radio and spotlight are still functional.
The 6 cylinder 3 speed drive line was updated for 1954 and the 223-cu.in. motor made 115hp at 3,900 rpm and 193-lbs.ft. of torque at 2,200 rpm. This combination was noted for its economy, averaging 25.1 mpg, and despite being down two cylinders on the optional V-8, their performance was very similar, making the six a viable engine choice.
The vehicle has always been garaged and is driven 2-3 times per year which makes this rare gem worthy if you want to put your business name on the side panels.
