This Coupe was purchased in 1995 and a complete frame off restoration was conducted. New steel was used were needed to fix any rusted areas. The work was performed by the owner and his friends. Always nice to have friends with special skill sets. The 15-year restoration was completed in 2010. During the restoration, all original Buick parts were used. The owner had a slight advantage as he was once the president of the Buick Club of America. Not only did he have a wealth of information at his disposal, but also knew where to source the parts. After completion of the restoration, the Buick was not only shown at car shows, but it also was used for special occasions such as weddings and photo shoots. This Buick has recently won best in class in June 2017 at the Cars and Critters Show held in Avon Indiana. The Buick Sport Coupe was also shown at the 2017 Indiana State Fair. With The passing of the current owner, the family is looking for a new owner who can keep the special memories and fun times of this Buick alive.
