This classic truck is painted a two tone maroon and black and looks like it just rolled into a time machine in 1948 and popped out yesterday 2017. The restoration on this truck is spot on and corners left totally uncut. The 216 cubic inch inline six cylinder engine runs as smooth as silk and provided more than enough power to haul whatever you wish however I would never put anything in the bed of this 1948 pick up for sale that I would not lay on the back seat of my car. I am sure that this truck has had all sorts of “material†loaded in the bed in the past; however, she is in her Sunday finest now and deserves to be taken to the best car shows. The inline six cylinder is backed up with a 3 speed manual transmission that is shifted with a lever on the column, or as we use to say, 3 on the tree. Running through the gears on this gal brings you right back to the days when things where more simple and the gas was cheap. This truck starts, runs, shifts and drives just as you would expect after looking through the photos of it. Tight, complete, and attention to detail are the words that best describe this truck. From the wood planks in the bed (I believe them to be Oak) to the chrome front bumper, this truck does not disappoint.
