This Ranchero has under gone a complete frame off restoration were every tiny thing was cleaned, rebuilt, repaired, repainted and reinstalled. The current owner then had custom badges made for the car to rename it a Rodchero. As you open the front hinged hood of this classic beauty it becomes obvious that money never entered the mind of the guy who planned and then built this car. Sitting inside this decked out compartment is a 351 Cubic inch ford small block that is pushing approx. 390 horsepower. It is easy to see the muscle bulging, with a set of headers, and a Demon® 4-barrel carburetor and Mallory® unilite electronic distributor. Backing this Blue Oval power plant is a C6 3 speed automatic transmission that has a 3000-stall converter ready to help you shred some tires. Holding up the back in of this ’57 Ranchero for sale and dividing the power to the rear tires is the bullet proof 9-inch axle housing a 390:1 gear set. Now in my opinion the Ranchero is the best of both worlds (kind of like a mullet) car in the front and truck in the back. You get to have to comfort of a car and can still haul gravel, no, that’s not wise, wood, wait, nope, well with 390 Horsepower, you know what you can haul!
