For sale in our Nashville, Tennessee show room is this 1945 Willys Jeep. Built for war, this is one rugged machine. This model was decommissioned in 1972 and now titled as a 1972 finally was placed on the civilian market. Today this vehicle has been restored and heavily accessorized. This is a truly fantastic restoration of a military vehicle. It is coated in period correct Olive Drab paint with all accessories, a 4-cylinder engine with a 3-speed manual transmission and with 4x4 high and low gearing. You will not be disappointed by this incredible military vehicle. If you’re looking for a parade vehicle or perhaps you want to join the battle as a reenactor… this is the Jeep for you! But, why is this vehicle special? Well, I’m glad you asked, the Jeep was one of the first military vehicles mass-produced in the United States, the Willys US Army jeep is the culmination of war-time ingenuity, standardization and strategic personalization for transport of personnel and cargo. Soon to become the ubiquitous, "world-famous" jeep, they were very effective on the ground, with many standardized features such as 6.00x16 tires, 60 honest horsepower at 4,000 rpm, a gasoline can bracket on the left rear, provisions for trailer lights, spark interference suppression, a blackout light system, twin top bows and sealed spring shackles. This fantastic Jeep retains all these features… and comes with tons of extras! Mounted in the middle of the rugged little rig is an iconic .50 Cal machine gun, converted to a water cannon, mounted to the dash is of course a .45 Thompson machine gun, and holstered for the driver is a .45 1911. She even comes with a purpose built trailer that can transport the ride, memorabilia, mock guns, tools, and extra parts! This rig is war ready and you can be too!
