In 1961 after being well received, the Falcon received higher level trim options in the form of the Futura and the Caliente from Mercury. This fun little coupe originally started life as a 6 cylinder car and went through a great transformation with the addition of the optional 260cid V8. Backing up all that V8 power is the Ford Cruise o matic 3 speed automatic transmission. The cockpit of this fun little cruiser is adorned with red, white, and chrome accents all around leading to a very space age feel. The owner of this Falcon left it fairly un touched with the exception of a modern sound system to make the cruise more enjoyable. Maintenance has been kept up to date making this a very sound and fun to drive classic.
